What makes a perfect travel pitch? Editors tell us the key is to think like a journalist, and pitch as if you were planning to write the article yourself. But how can you get in the mindset – and what key elements need to go in each pitch? Join top freelance travel writers James Stewart and Lucy Thackray to take part in our Q&A session. They write successful (and less successful) pitches week in, week out, and can tell you the dos and don’ts, plus the insider tips to making your ideas sing.
In this new event, rather than Roxhill asking all the questions, you will get the opportunity to grill our expert journalists, asking about any pitching-related issues, from a specific client scenario you are dealing with right now, to a more broad inquiry that will help you formulate your strategy going forward. We will be asking you to submit questions in advance, so James and Lucy can prepare, but we’ll also have time during the 60-minute session for follow ups.
