Who is Katie Prescott?
Katie Prescott has worked at the BBC for a decade and is currently the Weekend Business Correspondent for BBC News. She has spent most of her career at the Today programme as an output editor and latterly as business producer and presenter. She has also worked on the planning operation of the BBC’s Business and Economics unit – across the BBC’s varied business output from TV to Radio and Online. She regularly makes documentaries for the World Service and Radio 4, most recently on the parlous state of global mapping from Tanzania, how aviation is trying to go green and why data centres are being built in the Arctic. She has a degree in modern languages from Oxford.
What to expect?
This event is part of Roxhill's 15:1 programme. The objective is to allow PRs to build a personal relationship with each journalist in a more relaxed setting.
