Competition Terms and Conditions

All entry instructions form part of the terms and conditions for this competition. Entering this competition will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

To qualify for entry into the competition, entrant(s) must be a UK resident aged 18 or over, subscribers to the RoxStars and The PIG newsletters.

One entry is permitted per location—a maximum of five entries.

The prize includes x1 night midweek stay for 2 people (subject to availability) at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, Cornwall, including a 25-mile three-course dinner for the 2 guests with a bottle of English wine and breakfast for 2 on the morning of check out.

The prize is available Monday – Thursday, subject to availability.

The prize cannot be redeemed on Bank Holidays. Prize bookable between 22nd November 2022 and 27th April 2023.

The prize does not include any further food and beverage, travel or in-room larder spend.

Competition ends on 8th November 2022.

Roxhill Media will choose the winner at random from all correct entries received by 8th November 2022.

All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. The use of automated, mechanical or electronic entry software is prohibited.

Roxhill Media reserves the right to disqualify any entrant using a false name or other false information.

Roxhill Media accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, or corrupted entries due to computer errors in transit.

The prize is as stated and not transferable. No cash equivalent or other compensation is available. Resale of the prize is prohibited. 

The prize is subject to availability, in the event of the prize being unavailable, Roxhill Media reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

Travel to The Pig Hotel is not included. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise travel arrangements at their own cost.

Insurance is not included. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to purchase the relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, and insurance for theft, loss, and damage to property).

Roxhill Media will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner (and/or any Guest that accompanies them) that arises from their failure to arrive at or return home from The Pig Hotel.

Roxhill Media will not be responsible for any loss, changes, costs, or expenses, suffered by any prize winner (and/or any Guest that accompanies them) which may arise in connection with this competition.

The winner will be notified in writing 14 days after the closing date. Failure to respond within 14 days of the announcement or failure to meet the eligibility requirements will result in forfeiture.

If the winner cannot be contacted or cannot comply with these terms and conditions, Roxhill Media reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random.

Roxhill Media reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the competition and reject entries from entrants not acting fairly or in the good spirit of the competition.

The prize must be used by the named winner only. Failure to redeem the prize within the stated period will result in the forfeiture of the prize. (Prize bookable between 22nd November 2022 and 27th April 2023.)

Roxhill Media reserves the right to cancel this prize draw at any time. 

Roxhill Media’s decisions relating to the competition are final. No discussions will be entered into over any decision.

Entrants’ names may be used in reasonable publicity for future competitions and for the purposes of announcing the winner without any further payment or compensation. 

Any personal information you give us will be used for this competition and to supply the requested newsletters.
