Home Q&A Q&A: How to pitch and connect with the Big Boss podcast & BBC Work & Money

Join us for an exclusive live session

Join us for this special in-person double-header live in Salford where we talk with Henry Jones and Olie D’Albertanson from the BBC. We’ll be talking with Olie about his role producing the Big Boss podcast in terms of what he’s looking for in a good guest, narrative and interview.

From start to finish we’ll cover how he and Henry work together on getting the podcast from pitch to onto the Sounds app. And finally, we’ll get an update on what’s new at ‘Wake Up to Money’ from Henry directly, and other news from the Money & Work team.

We’ll be offering a light lunch of sandwiches, salads and fruit for attendees to meet fellow PRs and network at 12.30-2pm. Tables in the café will be available to work from for the duration of the day.

We will be running a separate Q&A on 25th March with Will Batchelor at 2.30pm. A discount code of £15 will be available once you purchase a ticket to this session.

This special session is part of Roxhill’s events programme, which aims to allow PRs to build a personal relationship with each journalist in a more relaxed setting. Each session will be structured as a 30-minute interview followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the audience.
