Q&A: How to pitch to The Standard’s ‘Going Out’ section

Home Q&A Q&A: How to pitch to The Standard’s ‘Going Out’ section

Join us for an exclusive live session

There’s not a restaurant, pop up or exhibition opening its doors in the capital that The Standard’s Going Out team doesn’t know about. Section editor David Ellis joins us to talk about the myriad coverage opportunities for PRs within his pages as well as why Going Out isn’t just a what’s on guide. We’ll get into:

– What hospitality news excites the team?
– How can new openings in the culture scene get a place on the coveted ‘things to do’ lists?
– What practical things can you do to make your pitch stand out from the crowd?

This special session is part of Roxhill’s events programme, which aims to allow PRs to build a personal relationship with each journalist in a more relaxed setting. Each session will be structured as a 30-minute interview followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the audience.
