Q&A: How to pitch to TV news
The power of broadcast coverage is palpable, but communicating your stories in the right way to TV journalists, and being able to react to their inquiries quickly and efficiently, is not always straight forward.
To help you improve your knowledge of how TV journalists work, and get expert advice on preparing your clients to contribute to television news reports, we are welcoming former ITV News Science Editor, Deborah Cohen, to take part in our new Q&A session.
In this new event, rather than Roxhill asking the questions, you will get the opportunity to grill our expert journalists, asking about any work-related issues, from a specific scenario you are dealing with right now, to a more broad inquiry that will help you formulate your strategy going forward. We will be asking you to submit questions in advance, so Deborah can prepare, but we’ll also have time during the 45-minute session for follow ups.
Cancellations are permitted up to 2 working days before the event. You can transfer to a different talk up to 2 days before the event (subject to availability), and delegate substitutions are accepted at any time. Please contact our event team at events@roxhillmedia.com for cancellation, transfer and substitution requests.
A photographer may cover this event and the photographs may be used to publicise future Roxhill events. By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you are consenting to appear in any photographs we may choose to use in future campaigns.
The details you provide will be processed in line with the Roxhill’s GDPR obligations. For information on how we handle your personal data please see our Privacy Policy.
