Why attend?

Roxhill’s Health Club will give you the opportunity to speak to journalists who are difficult to contact, and drill down into the details of exactly the kind of stories that excite them. We’ll also discuss when, what, and how to pitch.

Who will be there?

We’re gathering three health editors and writers working across some of the UK’s top-ranking titles, including national newspapers New Scientist, The Telegraph and Women’s Health.

Q&A: What do health audiences want to read about now?

Speaker: Claudia Canavan, Head of Features, New Scientist                  Time: 9am – 10am
Price: £50

Health journalism is more read than it’s ever been, but not all topics that the comms industry are pitching to journalists are actually resonating with audiences. We’re joined by Roxstar and health journalism veteran Claudia Canavan to dig into data that shows what health audiences are really looking to read about this year and how this should affect pitches and campaigns in the health comms space in 2026.

* Please note that to attend each session, you must book and pay for each ticket separately.

Q&A: 'What's new at Telegraph Health'

Speaker: Alice Wilkinson, Acting Head of Health Features, The Telegraph                                                                                                    Time: 10:15–11:15am
Price: £50

One of the biggest sections at the Telegraph, health is a key topic for the title’s readers. We will be speaking to Acting Health Features Editor Alice Wilkinson about what comes next for the team – the topics which are performing best, how news coverage will work going forward, the push for more digital assets, and the impact of GEO and LLMs on their evergreen content.

* Please note that to attend each session, you must book and pay for each ticket separately.

Q&A: 'What's new at Women's Health'

Speaker: Roisín Dervish-O’Kane, Features Director, Women’s Health
Time: 11:30am – 12:30pm
Price: £50

As health becomes some of the most read topics in mainstream media, how are specialist titles keeping ahead of the competition? We’ll be joined by the Features Director at industry stalwart Women’s Health to discuss what themes the magazine’s readers are responding most enthusiastically to, the new ways the team are packaging content and the type of pitches they are looking for from PRs now.

* Please note that to attend each session, you must book and pay for each ticket separately.
