At Roxhill, we know that nothing beats meeting journalists face-to-face, but if you’re based outside of London, it’s much harder to build connections. That’s why we’re committed to hosting events outside of the capital, to help link up local writers and local PRs, so you can get to know one another, but also bring London journalists out to meet you on your home turf.
Our brunch club offers you the opportunity to network with your peers, and enjoy the surroundings of The Village Pub (THE PIGs’ first pub).
We’ll be welcoming fourteen journalists, both from local titles and national publications including, Harriet Sime, newly appointed Head of Travel, Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday; Jane Knight, Travel Writer, The Telegraph and Daily Mail; Bridget March, Beauty Editor, Harper’s Bazaar; Jemima Sissons, Contributor, Condé Nast Traveller and Editor of Sphere.
You’ll get the chance to chat to them over brunch canapes and Bloody Mary/Bucks Fizz, introduce yourself, tell them about your relevant clients, and, most importantly, learn more about them so next time you pitch, you can tailor your ideas to their requirements. Plus, once they’ve met you, you’ll get that crucial inbox recognition that will hopefully lead to email opens, and then coverage.
Join us at The Villlage Pub in June: please see the full list of journalists attending below and ticket link.
We have 25 tickets for PRs available, priced at £120 each, including brunch and drinks. They will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. We look forward to seeing you then.
