This special session is part of Roxhill’s events programme, which aims to allow PRs to build a personal relationship with each journalist in a more relaxed setting. Each session will be structured as a 30-minute interview followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the audience.
A news reporter with experience working for titles such as the FT, Telegraph, Sky News, and Newsweek, Rebecca is now covering the ESG and sustainability brief at PA Media. She writes on themes such as climate crisis news, greenwashing, governance trends, social impact and sustainability regulation. We will ask her what elements a successful pitch to her has to have, the topics that she will never cover and why she thinks it’s so important for PRs to differentiate between what makes a story newsworthy and what is essentially promotional content.
