Callum writes about all things Film, Music, Theatre, & Literature at the Daily Express. He became the Entertainment Editor at the title in 2023, where he used to work as a TV reporter. Callum recently focuses on film news and reviews.

Tim is the long-standing Film Critic and the Daily Telegraph. He has been working for the title since 2000. His focus is on reviews, but Tim also writes on film-related issues.

Clarisse has been appointed Chief Film Critic at The Independent. She was previously a Culture Reporter at the title. She writes reviews about the latest films, such as the Avatar sequel, Babylon or Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.

Colin writes for a number of newspapers and journals including the Guardian, Observer, New Statesman, TLS, London Review of Books, Granta and New York Review of Books. He is also the author of 5 books and the director of WriterMosaic.

Patricia covers mostly Arts and Books. She is the Sunday Times’ Audio (radio and podcasts) reviewer, and Best Books columnist at the Daily Mail Inspire. Patricia also works for the Sunday Times as a Fiction reviewer. She also contributes to the Daily Mail Femail section and The Evening Standard on culture and books. On audio, especially keen to hear about new programmes & channels, returning series and podcasts.

Frederick Studemann

Literary Editor, Financial Times

Frederick is responsible for all the FT’s coverage of books including reviews, news, interviews with authors and books essays. Also oversees the Monday book review, which runs on the opinion pages and focuses more on economics and geopolitics.

Jenny Proudfoot

Jenny covers all features as well as culture, especially focusing on book reviews and food-related topics. Previously, Jenny was the Digital Features Editor of Marie Claire UK, where she joined the title in 2016 as Features Assistant.

Hephzibah Anderson

Hephzibah is a Freelance Writer, Journalist and Broadcaster. She produces book review content for BBC, Prospect and Mail on Sunday. Also writes a blog, Littlest Librarian, mainly about children’s literature.
