Look, I do my best, guys, but I can only go so far. If you really want what the low-down on the closely entwined worlds of fashion and fashion PR, then you need to ask a couple of muppets.
And by that I mean: hunt down the Instagram accounts @miss_pr_piggy and fashion editor @fashionweekfrog immediately – or ask yourself if you’re really serious about making it in this game.
Because truth-telling doesn’t come harder than through the medium of Muppet memes.
With the shows over, sadly @fashionweekfrog is now on a hiatus, but the anonymous American editor’s front row perspective – uniquely represented via Kermit the Frog imagery – is totally worth back-bingeing.
She (and Kermie) had me (and 12.4k followers) lolling all the way through the international collections. Those in the biz might want to scroll straight to 29 September’s ‘How PRs look trying to seat a show in the dark’.
Now @Miss_PR_Piggy is British so I feel like I must know her, but so far my sleuthing has proved unsuccessful. At the moment, she’s got less than 2k followers so go on and show your Piggy peer some love.
