Introducing Roxhill’s debut Back to School morning. We might have left school long ago, but September will always be a time to sharpen your pencils and your skills. Whether you’re new to the industry or just need a refresher on the ever-changing media landscape, get back to basics at a morning of Q&A sessions covering magazines, newspapers, and broadcast media.

On Thursday  21st September- 8.30am to 12.00pm top journalists from Harper’s, Red, The Times and Good Morning Britain will form panels over three sessions dedicated to revealing how PRs can work best with their title.

Tickets cost £50 to each event, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q&A: The golden rules for pitching to national newspapers

Gain valuable insight into two busy desks at renowned national newspaper, The Times. We meet with journalists from the food and news sections to explore how PRs should approach pitching their clients to a daily paper and ultimately securing coverage in the title’s most coveted features. The session will be your chance to submit your questions to Deputy Food Editor, Hannah Evans and Transport Correspondent, Ben Clatworthy who will be on hand to impart their knowledge and refresh your skills.

Q&A: Behind the scenes of broadcast basics

 Come behind the scenes with Roxhill as we pose your questions to two top broadcast journalists. Learn about the fast-paced world of morning news television as well as the careful curation of stories spotlighted on afternoon radio. We’ll be meeting with freelance Senior News Editor at Good Morning Britain, Sam Rix and the Afternoon Editor at Times Radio, Henry Tribe to explore how broadcast media works best with PRs and how to gain coverage on your clients’ most news-worthy stories.
