How to pitch to Times Travel – Mortimer House

Home Q&A How to pitch to Times Travel – Mortimer House

The standalone website Times Travel is an important new commercial enterprise for The Times & Sunday Times newspaper. Join our Roxhill Q&A session with Cathy Adams, Senior Content Writer at Times Travel, and Laura Jackson, Commissioning Editor at The Times & Sunday Times, to understand more about how this new type of ‘monetised editorial’ differs from the content in the paper, and talk about the kind of ideas that fit the brief, plus the pitches the team jump on.

At this new event, rather than Roxhill asking the questions, you will get the opportunity to grill our expert journalists, asking about any work-related queries, from a specific scenario you are dealing with right now, to a more broad inquiry that will help you formulate your strategy going forward. We will be asking you to submit questions in advance, so Cathy and Laura can prepare, but we’ll also have time during the 45-minute session for follow ups.

Cathy is senior content editor, overseeing the standalone inspiration and advice site Times Travel, and Laura acts as a key point of contact for cruising and tours on the paper – as a result, both are perfectly placed to give insight and advice on how to navigate this increasingly important form of content.
