The National, based in Abu Dhabi, is one of the largest English language news organisations in the Middle East. In this special session we will discuss how The National operates across its markets as well as the wider issues of business and journalism in the sector.

Damien McElroy has acted as the London Bureau Chief for the past six years. He is leading the National’s reporting on  Rishi Sunak’s government, the Israel-Gaza conflict and COP28. A foreign correspondent of 30 years experience, Damien has previously written for the Telegraph Media Group and The Sunday Times.
