At Roxhill, we know that nothing beats meeting journalists face-to-face, but if you’re based outside of London, it’s much harder to build connections. That’s why we’re committed to hosting events outside of the capital, to help link up local writers and local PRs, so you can get to know one another, but also bring London journalists out to meet you on your home turf.
We’ll be welcoming 13 journalists, both from the local area and London, including Lizzie Frainier, Associate Travel Editor, The Times & Sunday Times; Richard Mellor, Travel Writer, The Times, Metro, The Mail on Sunday; James Stewart, Travel Writer, The Sunday Times, Financial Times, Independent, Evening Standard; Annabelle Thorpe, The Times,The Guardian, Conde Nast Traveller, ELLE and The Telegraph and Gaby Le Breton, focuses on winter travel, The Telegraph, Financial Times and National Geographic.
You’ll get the chance to chat to them over brunch canapes, introduce yourself, tell them about your relevant clients, and, most importantly, learn more about them so next time you pitch, you can tailor your ideas to their requirements. Plus, once they’ve met you, you’ll get that crucial inbox recognition that will hopefully lead to email opens, and then coverage.
The morning will include brunch, a chance to network with and pitch to our journalists. At the end of the event, you’ll have the chance to tour the hotel’s kitchen gardens.
Tickets cost £100, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
