Hacks and Flaks summer event to support Whizz-Kidz

Home PR Insights Hacks and Flaks summer event to support Whizz-Kidz

In its fifteenth year, Hacks v Flaks is back and delighted to be supporting Whizz-Kidz.

Whizz-Kidz’s mission is to transform the lives of disabled children by providing the equipment, support and life skills they need, when they need them – giving them the chance to develop their full potential.

The cricket and rounders day will take place on Sunday 22 September at East Moseley Cricket Club, near Hampton Court. Journalists are licking their lips at the opportunity to say they smacked a hapless Flaks bowler into the Thames …

Hacks vs Flaks has raised more than £400,000 for good causes since it was set up in 2004, supporting more than 20 charities in that time.

Last year the Flaks won the cricket and rounders convincingly, in the late summer sun. But this year the Hacks have an Aussie up their sleeve …

The Hacks vs Flaks committee extends its thanks to lead sponsors Lowell**, London Stock Exchange Group and essensys, as well as co-sponsors Three, Ascot Lloyd, FTI Consulting, and Sharpener Communications, Emperor and VisMedia for their generosity around the event.

James Melville-Ross said: “My twins have directly benefitted from Whizz-Kidz, so it’s a mission close to our hearts and I’m so pleased that this year’s event will raise money for Whizz-Kidz!”

Any cricket or rounders players, supporters or sponsors looking to take part should contact James Melville-Ross, Ed Berry or Jamie Ricketts at FTI Consulting: hacksvflaks@fticonsulting.com.
